You will find Badagry in the state of Lagos. It is among the first of the tourist sites that you will consider since it is included in various different tours. When you fly to the country you will surely land here, a city that has a huge history, initially known for the slave trade, one of the biggest of the early 1500s. You can get to see what the slaves had to go through before being taken out of Africa and as you can imagine, various places of interest exist here.


Located in the Cross River State, this is one of the places to see in Nigeria mainly because of the world renowned Obudu Mountain Resort. You cannot actually express the beauty of the place in words. We have so many different views that are literally impossible to describe and many natural wonders. Benin City

Benin City is just 5 hours away from Badagry so why not consider it, especially since it is on the list of the best places to see in Nigeria? You will find it in the state of Edo. You can end up spending 2 extra hours if the weather is bad but you can always get a flight to the city from Lagos. We are looking at a city that is really well known for the ivory and bronze art works that are showcased. You will want to see the Benin Royal Palace, which attests the Benin Kingdom, which started around the year 900 AD. Also, tours of the Benin moat, an impressive over 6000 miles distance covered is a must see.



As already mentioned, this is Nigeria’s capital. We are looking at a city that is ultra modern and that includes absolutely all facilities you could imagine. To top things off, we have many tremendous architectural pieces, attractions and huge skyscrapers. You will want to see the Aso rock formation.
